The Pythagoras School

The Pythagoras School offers hands-on, several week classes in skilled building craftsmanship – traditional masonry, ironworking, carpentry, and plastering. The classes are taught by master craftsmen. Young people considering a career in the trades are given preference for class space, and tuition scholarships are available.

When today’s skilled craftsmen leave the workforce without an understudy to take on their trade, knowledge necessary to the building arts leaves with them. The Pythagoras School is helping pass on that knowledge, and rejuvenate craftsmanship.
